Q: How accurate is the moon on the poster?

A: The App calculates the moon's phase, how much of it was lit, and which way it was turned in the sky for the date, time and place you choose, so it matches what you would have seen from there. The surface is rendered from real lunar imagery. Posters are intended for decorative and commemorative use.

Q: The App says the moon was below the horizon. Is the poster wrong?

A: No. The phase is still correct for that moment; the moon just wasn't visible in the sky at that time. Many people choose a time later in the evening.

Q: How do credits work?

A: Each time you click "Add to design", the App uses credits; the cost is shown under the button, along with your balance. Previewing and adjusting a poster is always free. If the poster can't be added to your design, the credit is returned automatically.

Q: I bought credits but my balance hasn't changed. What should I do?

A: Purchases usually appear within a minute. If they don't, click "Already bought credits?" in the App and paste the license key from your Gumroad receipt email. If that doesn't work, email me with your receipt.

Q: Why can't I buy credits in the App?

A: Purchases are only available when Canva is open in a web browser. If you're using the Canva mobile or desktop app, open Canva in a browser to buy credits. Credits you buy there work everywhere you use Canva.

Q: Can I edit the poster after adding it to my design?

A: Yes. The caption is real Canva text, so you can change its words, font and color. The frame is a shape you can recolor or delete, and the moon is an image you can move and resize. To change the date, time or place, create a new poster in the App.

Q: How do I make the moon brighter or softer?

A: Open the Style section and move the Brightness slider. Higher values make the moon brighter and add more glow around it. Different color schemes suit different brightness levels, and the preview updates as you drag.

Q: My city isn't showing up in the search. What should I do?

A: Try the nearest larger city. The moon's phase is the same everywhere on Earth at a given moment, and a nearby city gives the same result for the moon's orientation.

Q: The "Add to design" button is disabled. Why?

A: Either you're out of credits, or the current Canva page type does not support adding elements. Check your balance under the button, or try a standard design page.
