By using Star Map ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App is a free tool available within the Canva platform that allows users to:

• Create personalized star maps for any date, time, and location
• Customize the appearance with color schemes, shapes, borders, and display options
• Add custom text and dedications to star maps
• Insert star maps as high-quality SVG images into Canva designs
• Re-edit placed star maps by adjusting date, time, location, or style

3. Use of the App

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App to:

• Generate star maps for your own Canva designs
• Modify designs you have permission to edit
• Use the star map generation functionality for legitimate design purposes

3.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use the App to:

• Modify designs you do not have permission to edit
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the App's source code
• Use the App in any way that could damage or impair the Canva platform

4. Design Modifications

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing generated star maps before finalizing your design
• Ensuring the date, time, and location inputs meet your requirements
• Verifying the accuracy of the information you provide to the App

5. Astronomical Accuracy

The App performs astronomical calculations to render star positions based on the date, time, and location you provide. While the App strives for accuracy:

• Star maps are intended for decorative and commemorative purposes
• Calculations are based on a catalog of approximately 5,000 stars
• The App is not intended for scientific or navigational use

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of star positions or astronomical calculations

7. Limitation of Liability

The developer (Naveen Bhavnani) shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Unintended changes to your designs
• Loss of design work or data
• Business losses or lost profits
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

8. Canva Platform Terms

Your use of this App is also governed by:

• Canva's Terms of Use
• Canva Developer Terms

In case of conflict between these Terms and Canva's terms, Canva's terms shall prevail.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Naveen Bhavnani and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The designs you create using the App remain your own property.

10. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice
• Update features or functionality
• Change these Terms of Service (changes will be posted on this page)

Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You use the App for illegal purposes
• Required by law or Canva's policies

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Naveen Bhavnani from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Star maps you create using the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Naveen Bhavnani regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
