Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Sankey Diagram ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App is a free tool available within the Canva platform that allows users to:

• Create Sankey diagrams from CSV data (source, target, value format)
• Choose from multiple color schemes for diagram styling
• Customize diagram options such as background, value labels, and link opacity
• Export diagrams as images directly into Canva designs

3. Use of the App

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App to:

• Generate Sankey diagrams for your own Canva designs
• Modify designs you have permission to edit
• Use the diagram generation functionality for legitimate design purposes

3.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use the App to:

• Modify designs you do not have permission to edit
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the App's source code
• Use the App in any way that could damage or impair the Canva platform

4. Design Modifications

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing generated diagrams before finalizing your design
• Ensuring the data and diagram output meet your requirements
• Verifying the accuracy of the data you provide to the App

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of diagram rendering or layout

We do not guarantee that:

• All CSV data formats will be parsed correctly
• Diagrams will render perfectly in all circumstances
• The App will be compatible with all design types

6. Limitation of Liability

The developer (Naveen Bhavnani) shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Unintended changes to your designs
• Loss of design work or data
• Business losses or lost profits
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

7. Canva Platform Terms

Your use of this App is also governed by:

• Canva's Terms of Use
• Canva Developer Terms

In case of conflict between these Terms and Canva's terms, Canva's terms shall prevail.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Naveen Bhavnani and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The designs you create using the App remain your own property.

9. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice
• Update features or functionality
• Change these Terms of Service (changes will be posted on this page)

Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You use the App for illegal purposes
• Required by law or Canva's policies

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Naveen Bhavnani from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Diagrams you create using the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Naveen Bhavnani regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
