Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My UPI QR code isn't working when scanned. What's wrong?

A: Make sure your UPI ID is in the correct format (e.g., username@bankname). Also verify the amount field only contains numbers with up to 2 decimal places. Test the QR code with your own UPI app before sharing.

Q: Why is my EAN-13 barcode showing an error?

A: EAN-13 requires exactly 12 digits as input. The 13th digit (check digit) is calculated automatically. Make sure you're entering only numbers, with no letters or special characters.

Q: Can I customize the colors of my QR code?

A: Yes! Toggle the "Advanced options" switch to access color customization. You can choose from presets or pick custom foreground and background colors. Ensure sufficient contrast for reliable scanning.

Q: Why does my QR code show a contrast warning?

A: QR codes need high contrast between the foreground (dots) and background to scan reliably. If you see a warning, try using darker foreground colors or lighter backgrounds.

Q: What barcode formats are supported?

A: QR Barcode Studio supports EAN-13, Code 128, and Code 39 barcode formats. EAN-13 is commonly used for retail products, Code 128 for logistics and shipping, and Code 39 for inventory and industrial use.

Q: Does the app process payments?

A: No. The app only generates QR codes that encode UPI payment information. No actual payment processing, money transfer, or financial transactions occur through the app.

Q: Is the app available in Hindi?

A: Yes! The app supports both English and Hindi. The language is automatically detected based on your Canva language settings.

Q: Can I undo after adding a code to my design?

A: Yes! Use Canva's undo feature (Ctrl+Z on Windows or Cmd+Z on Mac) immediately after inserting a code to remove it.
