1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Image Meta Cleaner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App is a free tool available within the Canva platform that allows users to:

• Upload images and view their embedded metadata
• Identify potentially sensitive information such as GPS location, camera details, and timestamps
• Remove all metadata from images for privacy protection
• Add the cleaned images to their Canva designs

3. Intended Use and Ethical Guidelines

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App to:

• Remove metadata from your own images to protect your personal privacy
• Clean images you have created or own the rights to
• Process images you have explicit permission to modify
• Protect sensitive location data before sharing images publicly

3.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use the App to:

• Remove metadata from copyrighted images you do not own or have rights to use
• Strip attribution or copyright information from others' work
• Facilitate copyright infringement, plagiarism, or intellectual property theft
• Remove watermarks, credits, or authorship information from images
• Conceal the origin of stolen, pirated, or illegally obtained images
• Evade content moderation or forensic investigation
• Engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

4. User Responsibilities

By using this App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any image
• You will not use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights
• You understand that metadata removal does not transfer ownership of images
• You will comply with all applicable copyright laws and regulations
• You will respect the rights of original content creators

5. Image Processing

You are responsible for:

• Verifying that the cleaned image meets your requirements
• Understanding that metadata removal is permanent for the processed image
• Keeping original copies of images if you need to preserve metadata

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties that all metadata will be completely removed from all image types

We do not guarantee that:

• All types of metadata will be detected or removed
• The App will work with all image formats
• Image quality will be perfectly preserved after processing

7. Limitation of Liability

The developer (Naveen Bhavnani) shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Any misuse of the App for copyright infringement or illegal purposes
• Loss of image data or quality
• Consequences of sharing images with metadata removed
• Business losses or lost profits
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Naveen Bhavnani from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Any copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
• Processing images you did not have rights to modify
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

9. Canva Platform Terms

Your use of this App is also governed by:

• Canva's Terms of Use
• Canva Developer Terms

In case of conflict between these Terms and Canva's terms, Canva's terms shall prevail.

10. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Naveen Bhavnani and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Images you legitimately process using the App remain subject to their original ownership and licensing terms.

11. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice
• Update features or functionality
• Change these Terms of Service (changes will be posted on this page)

Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You use the App for illegal purposes or copyright infringement
• Required by law or Canva's policies

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Naveen Bhavnani regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
